Leadership
Joel Jukus, CPA
Joel Jukus is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and the President of Rightway Compliance, LLC.
Joel began his career as a financial auditor for the accounting firm ParenteBeard LLC (now Baker Tilly US, LP), the 9th largest accounting firm in the United States. During his time there, he primarily conducted external audits of publicly traded financial institutions.
After leaving public accounting, Joel spent nearly 7 years as the Comptroller of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania. As Comptroller, he managed all accounting and treasury functions for the organization and oversaw an annual budget of up to $20 million per year. He also served as the chief liaison for all compliance reports to regulators and oversaw human resources.
In 2017, Joel started his own company providing accounting and compliance services to political campaigns and committees. He served as campaign treasurer or assistant treasurer for many large campaigns including Pennsylvania Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and US Congress.
In 2020, Joel stepped back from his business to assist Pennsylvania State Treasurer Stacy Garrity begin her first term in office. Treasurer Garrity appointed him Executive Director of her transition team and then as her Senior Advisor in the Pennsylvania State Treasury Department.
After assisting Treasurer Garrity with her first year in office, Joel joined Right Way Compliance as its President.
